There were two runner up Unpublished Comic Novel winners- 'The Lady's Companion' by Janey Preger and 'The Bird in the River' by Zahra Barri. The Unpublished Comic Novel Winner was 'Tinker, Tailor, Schoolmum, Spy' by Faye Brann who receives a publishing deal with Harper fiction and £5000. "Two very different winners, both created and crafted with care, sharing one true intention: to make you laugh.A lot," praised another judge, Janet Ellis, Actress, presenter and author. The judges had to clap twice to celebrate two worthy yet different winners at once.
